How can I prove I don't live somewhere?

Some one opened an account in my name for a place I don't live with edison and I'm trying to prove it wasn't me. They said to mail them statements and other things that would prove I don't live there, but what exactly can I do? How can I provide solid evidence that I didn't live at that street address and that someone else used my information for fraud?
