Why does my 4 month old Macbook Pro sleep incorrectly?

Whenever I close the lid on my macbook pro, the sleeper light still stays a solid white. The apple emblem that lights up on the cover unlights when I close the lid but after 5-10 seconds it turns back on. Eventually after 15-20 seconds it will finally shut off. It seems as if it's having sleeping problems. Do you know of any way that I can fix this?

Will I lose weight or should I eat less?

I eat about 2000 calories a day. I try to eat as healthy as possible by eating a lot of fruit for snacks instead of junk food. Females, red rash after sex?

Okay, so every time my boyfriend and I have sex "doggy style," if you will, I get this red rash on my butt right where he'd be bumping into me. I'm guessing it's a rash from irritation. It's definitely not like herpes, it's clustered right together and the majority of it is just flat, tiny red spots. There are a few of the red spots that are larger, bumped up, and sore to the touch, though. My dog killed a baby racoon--rabies?

We were walking our dog through the woods earlier tonight and he ran after a raccoon and killed it, we later saw that it was a baby, or maybe a "teen" raccoon or whatever. We looked but we couldn't find any bite or scratch marks on him, but regardless, and I'm pretty ashamed to admit it, he hasn't had a rabbies shot in the 6 months we've had him. how concerned do I need to be about rabbies? And are the odds of him having it lessened because the raccoon was young? I believe there is almost no difference. Ps3 is blu-ray, but Xbox gets most of the downloadable content, a month before ps3. I have played live at my friends house, and I use ps3, and it seems like they are essentially the same online. as for why you have to pay for live, I believe its because they get the content first, and that Sony released the online versions of the ps systems after Microsoft released Xbox live, and decieded not make consumers pay as a sales gimmick kind of thing. Also ps3 used to cost alot more than a simple Xbox 360 and back then, you could probably factor in the difference between the two cost to get an approximated $50. Chickenpox after Vaccine....?

Recently, spots had been appearing all over my body, so we went to the pedia. They told me it was breakthrough varicella(chickenpox) even though I had a vaccine some years ago. The spots dont itch that much, and it's almost a week since they appeared. I've also been taking acyclovir, for lessening the spots for at least 3 days(every 6 hrs). Can anyone tell me how long this will last?

A Question About Anorexia...?

I have a friend and although her anorexia began quite gradually, by the time she started starving herself (as in not consuming any solids, only drinking water and exercising constantly) after two months, she seemed to have dropped about two/three stone. Is this possible? I mean, once the human body starts starving, is it really possible to lose that much weight in such a short space of time? Because I'm not sure if she lied to me and was actually starving herself for a lot longer, as I can't understand how someone could lose so much weight so quickly. Thanks.

Why I only get thoughts and feelings about this girl when I am in a air conditioned room that is cold?

I have been mean to her in person because she rejected me and I sometimes acted grumpy when she was around me like in the computer lab. I asked her about her job and she said she has 5 jobs and 1 includes t shirt modeling and the other includes pet setting and I told her I am looking for a job and she told me she would let me know as soon as I know there is an opening and then when we got to the library she sat on a computer then she told me I play roller derby and you should come and watch and then I asked her if I could add her on facebook and she said yes and I asked if she could message me the adress and said ya that would be fine. SO when she accepted my rquest I messaged her and she did not relpy to my personal megssage but instead posted the event on her wall so I did not go because it is a 2 hour drive from where I live. Then on a diffrent day I would complement her hair and she would say thankyou and walk away then i would follow her and when she was dancing I asked her what dance stye is this and she ignored me untill I repeated and she said she took a improve class before. ok, i was diagnosed with A.D.D. about a year ago. i dont have meds for it yet cuz, well, thats a different story. anyways i find one symptom quite disturbing. Paranoia. Does anybody else's baby have trouble with rice?

I've been feeding my six month old son solids since he was 4 months without a problem. He loves sweet potatoes, green peas, apples...basically anything I put on a spoon. But, he can't tolerate baby rice. I started feeding him that before I tried food & he ate it fine. But a few hours after, he became very ill, projectile vomiting & screaming in pain for about an hour. Horrified, I refused to give him rice for the rest of the month. His doctor told me it would be okay if I started solid food & skipped rice. At 5 months I tried rice again...with the same results as the first time. I did some research & found that a lot of babies have had problems with grains because although they're bland, their stomachs can't actually handle digesting them until they're 3 years old. I don't know how true that is & I haven't tried other grains, mostly out of fear because I hate seeing my son so ill & in pain. Has anybody else experienced this? Did your child grow out of it? Just looking for some similar stories.

Also, the fat that is in a clogged artery is only 23% saturated fat. The rest of the fat is mono and poly unsaturated fat. Also, it is damage to the artery that initiates the process of clotting. Hey, I'm a 14 year old boy, I'm 5'8, 120lbs, and have a 6 foot wingspan. My vertical leap is around 3ft-3ft and a half. In my last year of middle school, I missed all but 3 games due to a knee sprain and only averaged 0.0ppg 2apg and 2rpg in those two games. This summer I decided I needed more help and more exposure to competetive play since my High School is only a single A school, so I decided to join the new AAU team my hometown was putting together for the first time this year. To be honest, we suck, we have only had one tournament, and lost the first two games by 30pts or more, and won the last game by forfeit because the team we were gonna play lost 54 to 1. But anyway, in the tournament, I scored 10pts in the first game against a team called SQBA, ant then I scored 12 in my second against the "Young Ballerz" so I guess thats 11ppg, I also had 2apg and 4rpg in this tournament. So if I continue to practice my all around game, will I have any future in basketball? Like how far do you think I could get? My teamates compare me to Ray Allen because of my shooting ability, although I wasn't a three point shooter in the begining of the AAU season, just a mid-range shooter, but ever since my coach forced the three point shot on me, I went from 20% behind the line to 34%. I am also a 87% free throw shooter, but lack dribbling ability, I don't drive to the basket often, in fact, I only lay the ball in on fastbreaks, I'm not a physical player, or one of those emotional leaders that get hyped up every second, I don't block shots or steal the ball, I just play solid on ball deffense. You need a bachelors degree and the premed classes to apply to medical school, and most med schools won't accept premed classes taken at community college. Starting there will hold you back in more ways than one. A nursing degree isn't necessary, and you will NOT have time to work, much less as a nurse, while attending medical school. Leave that to someone who wants to be a nurse. You'd need a bachelors (4 years), medical school (4 years) and a minimum of 3 years of residency (training in your specific field) to be a doctor. You get paid during residency, but not much.

this summer a friend and I (16 yo) have decided to make use of our school's weight room. we want to get fit for sports and girls!! It's pretty well equipped, and we have an older friend who is an insane athlete to work out with. We usually go from 9-11, the main part of the workout being probably 10-11, the time before that is like warming up, stretching, jogging, etc. we start early and do fartleks and running around the track some days, and once or twice a week I run 5 mi to school. I usually have muscle milk or just milk/chocolate milk after workouts, and a small breakfast (yogurt, juice, fruit) before. some people there who are really strong use stuff like amino acids and "cereatine" supplements, are these safe, and what do they do? are supplements like muscle milk and that really beneficial? also, I am always sore after the workouts for like 3 days in the muscles we worked, how can I lessen this recovery time?

I found that if I give her like a nickel size swipe of Vaseline on the floor really helps. I just completed my freshman year of undergrad and ended the year with a 2.8 gpa (and an even lower science gpa around 2.4/2.5). I got C+'s in both Gen Chem I and II and a C- in a Honors Biology course which I retook and still only ended up with a B-. I'm usually pretty good at Biology but messed up the class really bad. I'm taking the 2nd Biology class right now along with Physics and have a solid A in Physics and an A- in Biology which I'm hoping to pull up to an A. I plan on taking many science/math courses next year including Organic Chemistry, the next Physics Course, Microbiology, Genetics, and Statistics and will probably take some other science courses next summer. I'm also involved in undergraduate research, vice president of a club, and a volunteer at a local hospital. I also take ballet lessons and have a part time summer job. I know I reallyyy screwed up my freshman year but do I still have a chance? I'm making some good connections with undergraduate research and volunteering for future med school recommendation letters and I plan on taking a lot of biology courses as well as stuff like astronomy, botany, etc. to pull up my science gpa but my question is even if i manage to get a 3.5 science gpa would med schools decline me because of the C+'s I got in Gen Chem and the mistakes i made freshman year? How can I fix this severe pain in my right shoulder?

Yesterday I had pain below my right rib cage and severe pain my right shoulder(just in the joint) and I ended up going to the hospital because we thought it was my appendix or gallbladder. Well they did a CAT scan, and ran blood and urine tests and everything came back fine and I'm perfectly healthy. My blood pressure and blood oxygen levels were great too. So they told me they don't know why and just to hope it goes away. My side isn't as bad today but everytime I take a deep breath my shoulder is in excruciating pain. Could the pain be from stress? Radiating pain right below the sternum. What could it be?

Four times now I have gotten a sharp radiating pain right below the sternum. Three of those times I've woken up to the pain and the other I was eating dinner. It hurts breathe and not to breathe. I haven't been able to find any position to sit or lay in to make the pain lessen. The pain is so overwhelming that I always vomit which helps at first, but the pain always comes back within 10 minutes. They seem to be getting more frequent and it is making me seriously worried. The last 2 attacks have been less than a month apart. Since I don't have medical insurance or a job atm I can't go to a doctor. Please someone at least tell me what it is or what I can take to make the pain go away or more bearable.

My grandson and his parents-should I just butt out?

My grandson will be 2 in mid-July. My son and daughter-in-law do not live close to us so we see them 3-4 times a year. My husband and I babysat one night while they went out with some friends and it took me a while, but we finally had him running around-playing and rolling around outside. He was having a ball. He got dirty like I have never seen him (which is really not allowed by my DIL at all) and went to bed without issue and slept all night long. They picked him up in the morning and he was winey and moody all over again. They live in a very warm area, where it gets pretty miserable outside--so they stay in the house alot. They watch tv quite a bit and since they work alot (she a restaurant manager and he owns his own consturction company), he is at the sitters alot of the time. He is as smart as a whip--I do not believe for one minute he isn't able to do all the things a 2 year old should do, he just doesnt' when his parents are around and they don't make him. They have just entered him into a new daycare/nursery school that I think will benefit him greatly--playing with other kids and having to speak etc. I wish he lived closer so he could spend more time with us (we live on a farm and he LOVES the animals) but that is not possible. The stories I hear from my DIL about her upbringing, her parents were very, very strict, bordering on cruel (opne side of the story I know) my son was disciplined and to be honest once he got past about 7-8 years, I hardly ever had to discipline him, he had a good solid basis of right and wrong. They are both loving parents and I know they believe they are doing the right thing and only want whats best but sometimes I think they are too laid back with him. So do I keep my mouth shut or do I say something to my son/DIL? The not discipling is the part that really concerns me. They have to have a good solid base or they get out of hand as they get older.

I also have insomnia and ive read that irregular sleeping patterns contribute to migraines but ive also become immune to all the sleeping medicines ive tried, including kinds the doctor has prescribed. If you have any ideas or know some other trick i havent thought of i would very much appreciate it!!!

Need help with turtle?

Ok. My turtle went threw the same thing idk if i did the procedures right but my turtle did heal. First I let my turtle dry out by keeping it out of the water for a good 15-25 minutes. Next i put the turtle on a cloth and took a needle. I then gently stuck the needle a little bit into it resulting in this liquid type stuff (lookes like that type of stuff human cuts if its really bad pus or whatever) coming out of the bumb. Gently squezze it until you think it is all out. Next put the antibiotics on top of where your stuck the needle in. Clean the tank fully with disinfectant and and any other stuff you usually clean your tank with. But before you clean your tank put the turtle in a sink or bowl with water to let it soak and get moist again. After your done with the tank. Put the turtle back in the water in the tank. Put the anitbiotics on every morning and every night for a week or 5 days. And in a matter of time it will be all better. Its not professional but my great grandfather taught me this and it works. Drying the turtle will reduce the pain.But it is really better to take it to the vet because of the risk of killing your turtle and head trauma. Since they are in medical business i think they can get discounts only costing them around $40-100

So lately ive been unemployed and able to sleep till i wanna wake up. This seems like it would screw things up because I would have paid taxes in 2011 for a portion of the total on the following years 1099? My parents did this without any issues. Is the accountant wrong in not issuing a 1099 for the earnest money in 2011. Or did my parents attorney take advantage of a gray area? I wanted to avoid contract for deed and I know if we closed in Dec and the buyer made a second and final payment in Jan the IRS wants us to show interest or count part of the principle as interest which complicates the contract. Hey, I'm a 14 year old boy, I'm 5'8, 120lbs, and have a 6 foot wingspan. My vertical leap is around 3ft-3ft and a half. In my last year of middle school, I missed all but 3 games due to a knee sprain and only averaged 0.0ppg 2apg and 2rpg in those two games. This summer I decided I needed more help and more exposure to competetive play since my High School is only a single A school, so I decided to join the new AAU team my hometown was putting together for the first time this year. To be honest, we suck, we have only had one tournament, and lost the first two games by 30pts or more, and won the last game by forfeit because the team we were gonna play lost 54 to 1. But anyway, in the tournament, I scored 10pts in the first game against a team called SQBA, ant then I scored 12 in my second against the "Young Ballerz" so I guess thats 11ppg, I also had 2apg and 4rpg in this tournament. So if I continue to practice my all around game, will I have any future in basketball? Like how far do you think I could get? My teamates compare me to Ray Allen because of my shooting ability, although I wasn't a three point shooter in the begining of the AAU season, just a mid-range shooter, but ever since my coach forced the three point shot on me, I went from 20% behind the line to 34%. I am also a 87% free throw shooter, but lack dribbling ability, I don't drive to the basket often, in fact, I only lay the ball in on fastbreaks, I'm not a physical player, or one of those emotional leaders that get hyped up every second, I don't block shots or steal the ball, I just play solid on ball deffense. Would I have any future in basketball at my current position of Shooting Guard and my secondary position of Point guard and Small Forward?

Why does my left crank arm keep becoming wobbly?

I've replaced my left crank twice now on my GT Aggressor XC3 09. The axel is wearing the bit where it fits onto the axel away very quickly. I know they can become wobbly with over/under tightening the bolt. I did about 20 miles on it and it was loose once again, it's becoming very frustrating. At first the arm seemed solid but it later became loose. Can getting grit and dirt make it come loose? Aghhh please help!

I've always believed that babies can be breasted exclusively for at least 9 months. I don't agree when baby docs try to get you to make your baby eat at 6 months, and I watched my mom and sister raise all their babies on breast milk for the first year, but now my baby is needing to nurse more and I am now thinking he may need solids? I know all babies have different needs, does he need solids or is he just eating more often and that's fine? He is def chucky enough. 17 pounds. As long as he's thriving, is it ok to use only breast milk?

I remember as a kid, I wished a whole lot. I used to flip through the service merchandise catalog, which was 500 pages, and pick out something I wished to have on every single page.
